Harmen Fraanje respects your privacy. This page explains what personal data is collected through harmenfraanje.com, why, and how it is protected. All data is processed in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
what data is collected
Only the data needed to provide you with a service: your email address when you subscribe to the newsletter; your name, email address and order details when you buy something in the store; the recording you submit and the correspondence around it when you book a Personal Feedback Session; and your account details once the membership opens. No data is collected for advertising, and no profiling takes place.
how your data is used and protected
Your data is used solely to deliver what you asked for: sending the newsletter, delivering your purchase, providing feedback, or giving you access to member content. It is never sold and never shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Where service providers are needed — for example for sending the newsletter or processing payments — only carefully selected providers are used that comply with the GDPR, and data is stored on servers within the European Union.
retention and deletion
Your data is kept no longer than necessary. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link in every email. If you end your membership or no longer wish to be a customer, your data will be deleted, except where a legal obligation (such as tax administration) requires it to be kept for a limited period. Recordings submitted for a Personal Feedback Session are deleted after the feedback has been sent.
embedded content
Some pages contain embedded video or audio players (such as Vimeo, YouTube or SoundCloud). When you play such content, these services may collect data according to their own privacy policies. The players are configured to be as privacy-friendly as their settings allow.
your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data held about you, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email info@harmenfraanje.com. Requests are handled within thirty days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
